Standing the test of time! What started out as Hart and Bell in 1963, has since evolved over time to be Bell Land Surveys LLC. In 1980 Hart and Bell separated to cover a greater area. James H. Bell Jr., P.C. continued on until 2000 when he semi- retired and passed the reins on to three long-term employees who continued to operate as Bell Surveys Inc. Scott Leiffer started working with Bell Surveys in 2000 under the direction of the partners. Scott was licensed as a land surveyor in 2007. He chose to leave Bell Surveys Inc. after 10 years, and move forward on his own and opened Alpha Land Surveys LLC in April of 2011. Owning and operating Alpha Land Surveys successfully for two years before acquiring the records of Greg D. Hosaflook, P.C. in June 2013. April of 2014 brought a new beginning to BSI. As the partners retired, Scott was able to purchase their assets. In order to preserve 50 years of history, Scott changed his company name from Alpha Land Surveys LLC to Bell Land Surveys LLC in May of 2014. On July 1st of 2014, the new Bell Land Surveys LLC grew to include the assets of Louisa Aerial Surveys.
